orologio Herminda de la Victoria en CB01 OFFICIAL. In the late 1960s, hundreds of people living in extreme poverty occupied land on the outskirts of Santiago to build their homes. The residents were violently evicted by the Carabineros (Chilean police), and in the ensuing confrontation, Herminda, a baby just a few months old, was killed.
